In case you missed today’s fun.. just check out TUAW link below. AppMinute was on the scene and live blogged it.

Cool thing is that I used an iPad, Safari and nothing else to blog. Blogged the event using (supports iPad/Safari!).

Other tools i did use: First used Griffin’s WaveStand (great for flat surfaces), then migrated to PropUp iPad stand (perfect when iPad was in my lap). Lastly, used ThoughtOut’s PED 3 TriPhone for iPhone mount (connects to any tripod or monopod for great stability).

Here’s the link to view the event this morning

Infectious iPad Skin
AppMinute Podcast 26

On October 20, 2010, in AppMinute Podcast, by Sam Levin

Sam Levin looks at the Infectious iPad Skin.

Artistic designer ‘skins’ that can easily be applied and removed to one’s iPad

They are made of a durable and easy-to-remove 3M vinyl material. It has special “comply” cross-hatch channels so that you can push out any air bubbles really easily. The adhesive is contained in little beads on the back of the vinyl. It is only when you apply firm pressure and burst them that skin adheres properly. This means that providing you don’t apply firm pressure you can reposition your art multiple times without damaging it. The skins also have a protective gloss over-laminate that minimizes scratching to your device.

AudioNote combines the functionality of a notepad and voice recorder to create a powerful tool that will save you time while improving the quality of your notes!
By synchronizing notes and audio, AudioNote automatically indexes your meetings, lectures, or study sessions.  Need to review the discussion about deliverables on your next project? Trying to remember what the professor had to say about a key point? With AudioNote there is no need to waste time searching through the entire recording to find out. Each note acts as a link directly to the point at which it was recorded, taking you instantly to what you want to hear! Didn’t take any notes during the meeting? No problem, you can add them later!
A fully functional note application, AudioNote also increases the value of your notes. Watch as your text and drawings highlight during playback, helping you to remember the context in which they were taken.
With the convenience of the iPad or iPhone, you can use AudioNote anywhere: meetings, interviews, conferences, lectures, study sessions. Even use it to record memos to yourself as you jot down new ideas!
